It has tons of detail yet they're not sticking out waiting to break off.
The articulated design gives tons of tractive effort and effortless turning capabilities. It flies around even 18" turns (no small feat for steam locomotives). Truly you can't get this thing to derail on properly laid track. It's also very capable of pulling heavy loads at all speeds.
This is the undecorated model, which means it just doesn't have lettering. It's fully colored black.
The LED lamps are brighter than most Spectrum locomotives, which is very welcome.
