Tomy 60th Anniversary Thomas Steam Set Review

(More customer reviews)My son loves it, the only bad point I have is that the water reserve tank is quite small and runs dry after only 5-10 minutes, but it's not difficult at all to refill. I think they should make more of the trains with "real" steam.

Thomas and Friends TrackMaster R/C - Thomas Review

(More customer reviews)We recently purchased this toy for our 3 year-old to add to his Tomy made Thomas set (uses Trackmaster trains). He loves everything about his R/C Thomas. He loves the sounds, he loves the ability to make him go forward, backward and stop whenever he wants and he loves seeing Thomas going around his track.
I couldn't agree with my son more but with one exception. Because the remote makes a constant "chugga chugga" noise as the train is in motion, the batteries in the remote die very quickly. After one day of playing with it we had to change them. The batteries in Thomas were still fine but because there is constant sound from the remote (unlike comparable GeoTrax train remotes) it can go through batteries very quickly.
Other than that, this was a fantastic addition to our set. Sure, having motorized trains is great but why not have R/C trains that you can control right?

(More customer reviews)i recieved this mega bloks set from my fiancee for valentine's day(26 years old and still playing with toys lol).it took me about 4 hours to put together, but well worth it. It's a very nice model. If your really into trains this will go great in the train room (that's where mine is).This set is ideal for the collector, it has ALOT of detail.It's a very solid set also, nice and heavy. i'm sure the younger kids will like it to, its got big wheels so it will roll on the floor or carpet with ease...Hope this helps....Vaughn

(More customer reviews)Bachmann has a great corner on the affordable model train market; they know which trains are the classics and do a great job of making models that the average modeler can afford. However, with affordability comes compromise; there is no working headlight on this model, which if on here, probably would have added to the cost. Still, it has a good amount of power and will look great on your N Scale layout. The paint scheme on this model is slightly garish, though...maybe on a larger scale it wouldn't look so bad. If you have to choose a locomotive, I would personally pick Bachmann's B&O version, as it looks more authentic.

Air Hogs Scream'n Stream'n Rocket Review

(More customer reviews)This is a fantastic toy for young kids. Simple cheap, lots of fun. But it only has 2 of the foam rockets, so if these are lost or broken the fun could end.
After buying this I noticed Amazon also sells a "stomp rocket ultra" that comes with 4 rockets and the "junior stomp rocket" where you can buy "junior stomp rocket refills". There is also a "jump rocket" that seems to go higher than this one. All of these are also highly rated, so this whole class of toy seems very good.
